About Me.

(Almost) everything you wanted to know about who I am and what I love to do.

Where do I begin. Let's start with the obvious. I am completing a master's degree in biology at the University of Waterloo. I started in September of 2007 and plan to finish at the end of October or beginning of November 2009.

Before attending graduate school I had worked for almost 3 years as a hydrogeological technician at University of Waterloo. Primarily I was working on projects involving groundwater contamination. It was a great learning experience for me because I got to learn how to use many of the most modern field equipment in hydrology today. My CV contains a much more detailed list of the tools I learned to use.

Prior to working for the University I received my undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences (Ecology Specialization) with a double minor in Biology and Chemistry.

Outside of the University (where I have spent 10 years of my life thus far) I have a superbly wonderful and supportive wife, Andrea and together we have two absolutely amazing kids, Tristan and Maya. Both Andrea and I are trying to really hard to transform our lives by being much more environmentally conscience with the hopes of providing a healthier lifestyle for both ourselves and our children and their future. We have created a blog about this journey and if you are interested we'd love your support over at www.mygreenfamily.ca.

If you haven't concluded this already, I love pretty much anything to do with computers, specifically anything related to digital design. If you take a moment and view my online network of websites you can get a feeling for what I have done around the web.

And finally, thank you for taking the time to visit my research page. I hope you've enjoyed reading as much as I've enjoyed writing. If you have any comments please don't hesitate to email me, I would love to hear from you.
